aforger: (distracted by peanuts)
Some years ago, I was meant to read "The Prince and the Pauper." I never did, mind you, but I learned enough to pass exams. Basically it's a story of two rather identical-looking boys who trade places, the prince to a peasant and vice-versa. I imagine that's rather self-explanatory. The point is that they were treated with the expectations of their position and didn't actually learn much of anything until they began to consider the other side. Call me sentimental but, political motivations aside, if you use your imaginations, you may notice a few similarities.

Any stories about your friends you feel like sharing?

I trust there were no problems during your last working session.

I'd like to speak with you at length when you have a moment. Face-to-face.
